The BET Awards are upon us, the annual awards ceremony, which celebrates African Americans and other American minorities in music, film and sports, took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday June 23.
Although Ghana couldn’t gain a nomination this year, We had some reps stand for in style, with Ghana’s number one urban entertainment TV channel 4syte representing the face of GH and corresponding from the red carpet.
The 2019 BET Awards red carpet brought the heat on Sunday June 23 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with incredible looks and performances.
4syte TV’s rep DJ Millzy rolled up in a custom made jacket and sneakers with his Co host on the night Ariana Soleil looking all pinked up took over the red carpet.
Meanwhile, Afro-fusion artist, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy clinched the coveted ‘Best International Act’ award at the BET on Monday, raising the Africa flag high internationally and with a great short speech from the mother of the artist.
Burna Boy was nominated alongside Mr Eazi (Nigeria), Giggs (UK), Dosseh (France), Dave (UK), AKA (South Africa) and Aya Nakamura (France).
