Abraham Attah Lands A Huge Role In 2019.

Award winning Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah, who rose to fame after his ”Beast of No Nation” feature with Netflix Films and other credits including Sony’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming“, has officially been confirmed to star as the lead in “Tasmanian Devil” – a Nigerian immigrant drama.

The young actor will play the lead role in the movie with supporting actors like Adepero Oduye, Ntare Guma, Mbaho Mwine, Kwesi Boakye among others. The film is a debut from (writer/director) Solomon Onita Jnr.

The upcoming movie details the story of a 19-year-old Nigerian immigrant (Abraham Attah) who, after moving to the US, struggles to bond with his estranged father (Mwine) who abandoned him and his mother (Oduye), in Nigeria, to chase his own calling of becoming a missionary. When he finds acceptance in his process of joining a college fraternity, he becomes challenged by his strict and religious father, leaving him searching for his own moral ground.

The Tricia Woodgett of Tiger Eye Films produced project, will have Benny Boom and Gerald Rawles serve as executive producers.

Congratulations to Abraham Attah for landing his first movie role in 2019. Hopefully, more wins ahead.
