Amaarae & Moliy break into Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Sad Girlz Luv Money” remix

Amaarae and Moliy’s “Sad Girlz Luv Money,” featuring Kali Uchis debuts at No. 80 on this week’s #Hot100 — earning the two Ghanaians their first career entries on the charts, a data from Billboard reveals.

Amaarae shared an updated version of “Sad Girlz Luv Money,” taken from her debut project The Angel You Don’t Know on September 16, 2021.

With over 6million monthly listeners, the smash hit is currently number 1 on Spotify’s top 50 – Global viral, and top 50 – USA viral charts. Earning the number 1 spot on global Shazam charts, it concurrently holds the number one position in six countries and also recently surpassing 2 million video creations on Tik Tok.

“‘Sad Girlz Luv Money’ was already a magical song with myself and Moliy but Kali takes it to a new dimension,” Amaarae said in a press release. “I’m excited to have her on the remix. I’ve loved her music since I was 19 in college so to be able to work on this with her was amazing and she kills her verse! I think the Sad Girlz Worldwide are going to LOVE this!”
