Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of GB Records and artiste manager, George Britton popularly known in the showbiz circles as GB has said that artistes get angry easily when they become famous.
” I think the challenge is that artistes, when artistes become hits, every little thing, they get angry”
he Explained.
Speaking on ‘ Max Morning’ on Accra based Television station, Max TV, Britton advised musical acts to look presentable always in the public domain.
He says showbiz has to do with numbers and followings.
According to the artiste manager, a fan could like an artiste not necessarily for his songs but an interview he granted.
” You see this our job has to do with numbers and followings. That’s why artistes should always look presentable. Someone could like you because of your interview and not your songs”
he said.
Speaking on the issue of bloggers turning into artiste managers, he held the view that a person should be a strategist and selfless in order to manage an artiste.
George Britton holds the view that artiste managers must have connections and links in the world of business in order to push their acts.
