Blaqbonez Drops Tracklist for New Album ‘No Excuses’ Ahead of Release

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has set the stage for one of the year’s most anticipated releases by revealing the official tracklist for his upcoming studio album, No Excuses.

With its stellar mix of international and African artists, the 17-track project is already creating a stir and has the potential to become one of the year’s most popular Afrobeats and hip-hop releases.

The unveiling, which comes with eye-catching album art, demonstrates Blaqbonez’s goal to produce a body of work that has worldwide resonance. With 15 guest musicians, the album aims to offer a dynamic and varied audio experience by fusing West African and UK sounds.

Pa Salieu’s appearance on Aura 4 Aura and UK rapper AJ Tracey’s appearance on Consistency are two of the most notable collaborations. Additionally featured on Despacito and W For Wetego, respectively, are Nigerian giants Olamide, Phyno, and Young Jonn. Bella Shmurda, Ayo Maff, Barry Jhay, Zinoleesky, Valiant, The Kazez, Melissa, Leostaytrill, Kindlynxsh, Brotherkupa, and Wave$tart are among the other noteworthy characters.

With contributions from leading producers like Jae5, Telz, Kofo Sound, Black Culture, Blaisebeatz, Magicsticks, Ramoni, ILON, DJ808, and BMH, the production credits behind the boards are as impressive.

No Excuses, which blends humorous lyrics, relatable storytelling, and genre-fluid production, is a reflection of Blaqbonez’s flexibility and expanding global reach, as evidenced by their work on Everlasting Taker and Star Life II. His position as one of Africa’s most innovative and financially successful artists appears to be further cemented with this record, which follows the success of Sex Over Love and Young Preacher.

Now, fans are eagerly awaiting Friday’s release, anticipating the next phase of Blaqbonez’s ever changing musical career.
