‘Brown Skin Girl’ by American superstar and iconic singer, known by her stage name as Beyonce featuring Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Wizkid, Blue Ivy and Saint JHN has won a gold lion for ‘Excellence In Music Video’ at this year’s edition of the international Cannes Lions Awards 2021.
This is the third time the singer is winning an award at the prestigious ceremony. Cannes Lions, is a five day international Festival of creativity.
This year’s edition of the ceremony was held on Monday 21st June 2021.
‘Brown Skin Girl’ a masterpiece and classic song by the American and Nigerian singers is off her global and well marketed studio project ‘The Lion King’ The Gift’ the album released on the 19th of July 2021. It featured some of the finest and talented artistes from Africa including Ghanaian dancehall act, Shatta Wale, Nigerian Grammy Award winning acts, Burna Boy and Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Salatiel etc.
