Legendary highlife musician, Dady Lumba, is billed to treat Ghanaians to a phenomenal night of music alongside Highlife musician, Ofori Amponsah and awards-winning vocalist and songstress, Efya on the Mobile Tele-Communication Network(MTN)Ghana’s musical concert dub the ”MTN Music Festival” in Accra.
The Music Festival which is staged on the eve of selected national holidays through out the year, will see this edition being hosted on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, 2019 in the heart the of the capital city, at the Accra International Conference Centre(AICC) at exactly 6:00pm.
According to the Chief Marketing Officer at the Mobile Tele-Communication Network(MTN) Ghana, Noel Ganson, this is one of the incomparable, primo and unsurpassed treats the telco company can undilutedly offer their customers on the eve of Ghana’s independence anniversary celebrations.
The Music Festival is organized to celebrate and express the heritage of the evergreen Ghanaian culture through Music, Poetry and Dance.
The musical event is one of the avenue the Telco company supports and promotes the Ghanaian creative arts industry. MTN Ghana has generated other traditional and digital platforms including MTN Hitmaker and MTN Regional Festivals to elevate the Ghanaian entertainment climate.
The Chief Marketing Officer stated that, the recent partnership and rapport between MTN and Aftown are one of the recent platforms that drive listening, streaming and monetizing of local music in the digital age, urging customers and fans to dial *1355# and download songs of the artistes and set them as their caller tunes.
