Davido donates N237 Million to orphanages in Nigeria

Davido has announced a substantial donation of N237 million to support the less privileged in the country through his charity arm, the David Adeleke Foundation (DAF).

Led by the chair of the DAF Disbursement Committee, Mrs. Titi Adebayo, the funds were successfully distributed to 424 orphanages across the country, providing much-needed support and care for the vulnerable children under their care as well as impacting the lives of an incredible 13,818 children. The humanitarian effort demonstrates his unwavering commitment to supporting the less privileged and making a positive impact on society.

The DAF’s journey to raise the impressive sum of N237 million began in October 2022, as the foundation reached out to compassionate Nigerians for support in uplifting the less fortunate across the nation. In a heartfelt message, Davido personally thanked all the donors who made this significant contribution possible. Their unwavering support and kindness played a crucial role in ensuring that the DAF could extend its assistance to so many deserving children.

“I am proud to announce that my foundation, The David Adeleke Foundation (DAF), has donated the sum of N237,000,000.00 (Two Hundred and Thirty-Seven Million Naira) to 424 (Four Hundred and Twenty-Four) orphanages, benefiting a total of 13,818 (Thirteen Thousand, Eight Hundred, and Eighteen) children.”

“I founded the DAF in 2022 with a strong desire and passion to continually assist others and create a proper framework for ongoing charitable works to benefit the good people of Nigeria. Through this foundation, we have raised millions of Naira and disbursed much-needed funds to hundreds of orphanages, significantly improving the lives of countless children.”

“Seeing the impact and success of my previous donations, particularly in 2021 after my birthday, left a mark on my heart and reading the numerous letters and messages from everyone who received this donation has reaffirmed my commitment to continually assist the less privileged in any capacity. This motivated me to establish the DAF to execute our mission effectively.”

Established in 2022, the David Adeleke Foundation has quickly become a beacon of hope for countless individuals in need. Its mission to continually assist the less privileged and facilitate ongoing charitable works has resonated with numerous well-wishers who share the same passion for making a difference. Since its inception, the DAF has been a source of positive change, providing much-needed funds to numerous orphanages and significantly improving the lives of countless children across the nation. This latest donation marks another milestone in the foundation’s commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of the less privileged.
