Diamond Platnumz confirmed for ACCES 2022

The Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF) is excited to announce that Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz will participate at the ACCES music conference at Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre, taking place on 24, 25 and 26 November 2022.

Diamond Platnumz will make an appearance at the 2022 ACCES music conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Diamond will be at ACCES through a partnership between the MIAF, Ziiki Media and Wasafi Media, and will share knowledge and tips about his career journey including his success as an artist, CEO and entrepreneur.

Diamond Platnumz needs little introduction. He is arguably the most successful musician and music business entrepreneur to come out of East Africa in the past decade. Apart from releasing massive hits such as ‘Melody’, ‘Jeje’ and ‘African Beauty‘, among many others, he is also the founder and CEO of leading record label WCB Wasafi and prominent East African media company Wasafi Media.

“We are excited to be a valuable partner of ACCES this year,” Ziiki Media CEO Arun Nagar said. “Music and musicians from Tanzania are breaking new boundaries and becoming popular not only across the continent but globally.”

Diamond’s session, which will be presented by Ziiki Media, is certain to be a highlight of the conference, providing valuable insights into the fascinating journey of the superstar.

MIAF director Eddie Hatitye said: “We are excited to welcome Diamond Platnumz to ACCES 2022. His session will be an unforgettable experience for our delegates, who will be listening closely to his career story and learning from one of the best in the business.”

The three-day ACCES conference will feature a dynamic pool of more than 60 local and international speakers, businesses and showcasing artists from over 50 countries. The music trade show offers a strong programme that includes industry talks, networking sessions, workshops, exhibitions, awards and music performances. The event has been organised in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports of Tanzania and the National Arts Council of Tanzania (BASATA).

This year, ACCES will begin on 24 November with performances at Brake Point Makumbusho (Village Museum), where artists from different parts of the continent will showcase for three nights.
