DMX’s Death! How Musicians Globally Have Reacted

Veteran singers and rappers globally have reacted to the passing of iconic and influential actor and rapper, DMX who died of heart attack, paying their tributes to him.

Some of these legendary musicians include; Ice T, Reggi N Bollie, Nigerian rapper, M.I, Manifest, Usher, Ghanaian dancehall act, Stonebwoy, Ugandan rapper and politician, Bobi Wine, Chris Brown and record label, Def Jam just to mention a few.

DMX, born Earl Simmons died on Friday 9th April 2021 after suffering from a heat attack following an overdose.

The 50 year old rapper had earlier underwent a brain functionality tests earlier Wednesday 7th April if there had been any improvement in his brain’s activity.

Result generated from the test Indicated that there had not been any form of improvement following his reported overdose nearly a week ago. He died on Friday 9th April.

Nigerian rapper M.I reacting to the immidiate late rapper’s demise and paying his tribute to him revealed that he was the reason why he started rapping.

” The greatest rapper to me.. the reason I started rapping has passed on”

” Thank you for the anthems, the bark, the prayers 98′, the poetry and above all your honesty.

Ugandan Presidential candidate and Bobi Wine also in a statement reacting to DMX’s demise tagged him as a champion.

He wrote;

” Rest well champ, rough riders never die!

Veteran and legendary rapper, Ice T also in a statement paying his tribute to his late colleague rapper, advised that every moment shared with a loved one be appreciated as life is short, death is final and guaranteed.

” Life is Short. Death is Final and Guaranteed..Tell your Love ones you Love em and appreciate ever moment”

Finest singer, Usher reacting to DMX’s demise also wrote;

” Respect to you king. Til we meet again. #DMX #gonetoosoon
