Renowned medical practitioner, Dr. Louisa Satekla has been named as one of the guest speakers at this year’s Glitz Africa SHE Summit Mentorship Program, slated for Accra Digital Centre on Saturday (June 24) at 9:00AM.
Now in its 7th edition, the transformative event aims to equip women with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to navigate their career paths, break through barriers, and achieve their full potential. It is also dedicated to connect aspiring women professionals with accomplished mentors to foster personal and career growth through guidance, support, and networking opportunities.
This year’s summit is running under the theme, ‘Advancing Women for Leadership Roles and Overcoming Gender Barriers’, and aligns with Glitz Africa’s commitment to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Dr. Louisa will participate in a panel discussion where she is expected to share insights from her personal journey, discussing the challenges she faced and the strategies she employed to overcome them to become a leading figure in the Ghanaian health industry. Her inclusion comes shortly after she was crowned the “Most Promising Lady” award at the 2023 Ghana Women Awards.
