Ghanaian actress Fella who rose to fame after her role in youthful TV series Yolo has been in the news for the past days over boyfriend snatching amidst car impounding by her ex-lover and now to a cat fight with a movie producer over the word, “Kakalika Love”.
The word “Kakalika love” was used synonymously for rapper Medikal and Fella after the jilted girlfriend of the rapper sister Deborah released a song which was said to be a “diss” song to the now celebrity couple.
In a new development, a movie titled “Kakalika Love” produced by Samuel Degraft Yeboah (success grand films) in which Fella Makafui alongside Jackie Appiah, Kalsoume, Umar Krupp and others starred is the new item on the table of contention as Fella and her team throw shots at the producer and even threatened to secure an injunction to halt the premier of the movie.
The contention between the two camps erupted after Fella made a post on Instagram which she deleted minutes after alleging the producer has changed the title of the movie from “Incest” to “My Partners Enemy” after a debate onset in which she Fella was actively involved, but upon release, she is now seeing a new title which is far different from the one agreed on which was “My Partners Enemy”.
Fella’s manager touching on the issue noted that upon seeing the change, several calls were placed to the producer to try resolve the issue amicably, but to no avail till they took it up with their lawyers. Responding, surprisingly the producer also indicated he has tried to reach Fella and her camp to have a talk after his team decided to change the tittle of the movie but he couldn’t reach her.
Though the first premier was done on the 7th of December at Cape Coast UCC, the question now is will Fella and her team go ahead with their injunction threat to halt the ongoing premier or they will have a sit down talk with the producer.
