Camidoh’s Afro Pop smash hit titled FOR MY LOVER featuring Ghana’s fast rising star Darkovibes has garnered over 1 million plays on Audiomack music platform. The song, since its release, has registered the Ghanaian singer’s brand as a household in the industry after receiving a number of airplays and a strong digital presence.
Camidoh followed the self-produced single up with a couple of charting submissions including, Yawa, The Best (feat. Kelvyn Boy) and Maria (off his debut EP CP – Contingency Plan) which have received widespread plaudits for his fluid, authentic and progressive take on West African pop and fusing it with western sounds.
Noted for his cloying vocals, transporting lyrics and majestic stage performances, as well as a growing catalogue of radio staples in his home country and on the continent, Camidoh’s music unravels in richly ambitious experimentations across multiple languages and across an expansive spectrum including but not limited to Afropop, highlife, soul and neo-R&B.
