As one of the pioneer crop of radio DJs from the mid nineteen eighties, you came to the game with an accomplished track record as a disc jockey on the club circuit dating back to your schooldays at St Augustine.
Your work with Joy FM prepared you for a glorious career as a music producer whose A listed artists were at the vanguard of the hip-life revolution which has indeed provided jobs and succour for many people worldwide.
Your role in the creative arts cannot be understated as you used your keen understanding of music to mould and groom talent through your participation as a judge on numerous reality shows in the country. Indeed your candid opinions endeared you to many a viewer.
Today you still continue to groom and develop talent through your numerous roles as a media executive, television producer, talent manager, event organizer and creative arts consultant. It is no wonder that your contribution to the creative industries has been recognized by the state and you are currently the President of the Creative Arts Council of Ghana.
It is in recognition of these immense contributions to Ghana’s development through the Arts in general and the media in particular that the board of the Ghana DJ Awards 2018 acknowledges you as an inspiration in the creative arts in Ghana and confers on you the Lifetime Achievement Award today, Saturday, 5th May 2018.
