Now that it’s been approximated, two months to round up the year, 2019, many artistes have already started announcing their summer touring plans to climax every musical activity and business they engaged in under the year of review. Kelvyn Boy, Kwesi Arthur, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata have created all-new spectacles to dazzle audiences, while the Lynx signees will perform a handful of dates with Wendy Shay. EDEM FEST
VOLTA REGION, GHANA – Ghanaian rap recording artist, and entertainer christened Denning Edem Hotor, who is professionally known for his musicianship as Edem (@iamedem), has revealed the date and venue for the 2019 edition of the most attended annual outdoor musical concert tagged, “Edem Fest”
Schedule to occur on 1st November, 2019 and to be hosted at the Aborigines Beach Resort, Edemfest was conceived as part of brand Edem’s Corporate Social Responsibility, as an avenue to remind Ghanaians of an illustrious heritage as a people, and a wake-up call for them to preserve the very culture that makes them unique.
This year’s edition of the festival is aimed marking the “Year Of Return” initiative by Government of Ghana, as the Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG) boss also has the objective of inculcating a sense of Pan-Africanism on the minds of the diaspora who will be touring Ghana.
PAE MU KA
After a successful launch of “Pae Mu Ka” album at 20 years, Obrafour is ready to host the biggest concert for the album after two decades. The album which is tagged as the best Hip life album of his career was celebrated like it deserved with industry stakeholders, contributors of the album and friends of Obrafour. The Pae Mu Ka at 20 concert is set for 9th of November 2019 at the Accra International Conference Center. Organizers say tickets will be out soon.
ALL WHITE PARTY
The annual ”Dj Mensah All White Party” since its inception in 2005 has been year after year a celebration never to miss. It’s been 14 solid years of bringing all the stars and fans to one venue dressed in all white or a touch of white.
This year’s “Dj Mensah All White Party” dubbed, “Year of return”, will blow your mind with a long list of big names and faces all at one venue. The event slated for Friday 8th November will take place at Soho (Marina mall, Airport City). Guest DJs and celebrity appearances will take over the venue for a memorable “All White Experience”. It starts from 9pm till late, you do not want to miss this.
BISA FEST
The much awaited concert for fans of Bisa Kdei is set to come on this 20th of December inside Accra, East Legon. The multiple award winning Ghanaian singer announced this date and venue, confirming to his followers the maiden edition of #BisaFest 2019 will be coming on live
The event is set to take place inside Pearly Gate Gardens – East Legon on the 20th of December 2019. This comes as a good news to all Bisa Fans who have been expecting the #BisaFest for a long time. Bisa Kdei promised to visit other regions with #BisaFest after the maiden edition kicks off. Some of these regions include Kumasi, Takoradi, Sunyani, Volta, Northern Region, to mention but few.

BHIM FEST
Grammy nominee and Reggae Dancehall artiste , Stonebwoy took to social media to officially announce when his annual BHIM Concert would be held. Regardless of the initial difficulty in having this year’s event due to venue, Stonebwoy has made it clear that BHIM Concert 2019 would come off on December 21, 2019.
However , the venue for the event is yet to be finalised and made public even though Stonebwoy has specified that it would be out of Accra. This year’s event would be the 4th edition and its expected to be an interesting time for Bhimnatives to have their hero Stonebwoy treat them to most of his hit songs as well as those from other artistes.
RAPPERHOLIC
Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie has confirmed the venue for his annual Rapperholic concert this year. It looks as though some patrons have complained about the size of the venue and perhaps the ugly scenes that occurred at last year’s event so the rapper is taking it to a bigger and broader place to accommodate all loyal fans (remember he said he has the most loyal fans in Ghana).
So the news is that the 2019 edition of the Rapperholic Concert will be held at the Grand Arena inside AICC on Dec. 25, same venue where Where the VGMA 2019 was held. The Rapperholic Concert is an annual event masterminded by Sarkodie whereby he holds a mega concert to thrill his fans. Other chart busters also join him to make the night a memorable one.
AFRONATION FESTIVAL
The biggest urban music beach festival in Europe aimed at celebrating all things afrobeat, hip-hop, UK rap, reggae and dancehall, is set to make its way to Ghana for the first ever African edition.
Ahead of this summer’s sold-out festival taking place in Portugal’s Algarve region, Afro Nation will bring the party to the people of Ghana for what promises to be a vibrant celebration of music and culture. 2019 Afro Nation Festival in Europe was spearheaded by the likes of King Promise, Femi Kuti, Davido, WizKid, Burna Boy, Busy Signal, Octavian and many more.
The Africa Edition of Afro Nation Festival which will take place in Ghana’s capital Accra will bring together the global African community between December 27 and 30. The announcement follows the recent news that all tickets for this August’s event in Europe remarkably sold out in the space of just 36 hours. Afro Nation will deliver live performances from some of the most exciting artistes in Afrobeats, Hip Hop, Rap, Dancehall and Reggae.
