Ghana Grid Company Limited ( GRIDCo) has finally reacted to power outages in some parts of the Greater Accra Region earlier yesterday 3rd April 2021.
Some major parts of the country’s capital on Saturday 3rd April experienced power outages.
Corporate Affairs of Gridco in a press statement earlier today 4th April sighted by GBAfrica.Net noted that the power outages occured following a conductor on the Tema – Accra East line that fell at Trassaco.
They say their technical team was able to work round the clock to restore power to the Mallam, Achimota and Accra Central Bulk Supply Points at about 4:00am on today Sunday 4th April.
” Power supply has however, been reduced to 50% in areas at Trassaco as the team works to permanently fix the fault” Part of the Statement read.
