Minister Designate for Finance, Honourable Ken Ofori Atta has claimed that he doesn’t take salary nor per diem managing the country’s finance.
Ken Ofori Atta appeared before the 8th Parliament’s Appointments Committee yesterday 25th, March 2021 to be questioned and vetted as Finance Minister Designate as he was not around when his colleagues were being vetted.
The Minister Designate was in the States during the vetting processes following post Covid- 19 complications he had after recovering from the novel virus.
Speaking before the Committee, Mr Ofori Atta stated emphatically that he doesn’t take salary nor per diem as his objective as a Finance Minister is not to enrich himself.
” I do not take salary, I do not take per diem. My objective as Finance Minister is not to enrich myself” He said.
