Veteran and award winning actress, Yvonne Nelson has on today descended on the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the ongoing power outages under his administration.
The actress was reacting to the current ongoing power outages under the Akufo-Addo – NPP administration.
Yvonne Nelson had earlier launched a fierce attack on Ghanaian leaders, describing them as a curse to the country.
Major Regions in the country, the Greater Accra and Ashanti in particular have had serious power outages over the past few weeks.
The Electricity Company of Ghana ( ECG) and the Ghana Grid Company ( GRIDCo) had earlier hinted on releasing a ” Dumsor” timetable.
The actress and political activist was amongst the few celebrities who were on the neck of former President Mahama over ” Dumsor” under his regime.
She staged a demonstration against the Mahama – NDC administration over electricity that was not stable under their government.
Yvonne Nelson reacting to the country’s power outages under President Akufo-Addo in a tweet sighted by GBAfrica.Net questioned him if it is a reloaded version of the the one that was seen under his predecessor?
In her tweet, she demanded for ” Dumsor” under the Head of State to be stopped.
” Mr President is this DUMSOR reloaded? We haven’t forgotten. #dumsormuststop”
