The ITA Accra, with the support of the Italian Embassy, is currently hosting a delegation of Italian manufacturers specializing in machinery and products for the plastic, processing, packaging, and agribusiness industries. The ITA has organized a series of activities aimed at fostering opportunities for collaboration between Italian and Ghanaian companies, thereby strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The presence of these Italian businesses in Accra serves not only to educate Ghanaian companies about the potential benefits of Italian expertise in enhancing local production but also to help them meet the rising demand for more sophisticated products in the domestic market.
Simultaneously, it enables them to explore opportunities to enter foreign markets with higher value-added products.
A significant milestone in this endeavour is the establishment of the Italian Pavilion at PlastPrintPack and Agrofood West Africa. This initiative involves collaboration with prominent Italian industrial associations such as UCIMA, AMAPLAST, ACIMGA, and ASSOFOODTECH. The goal is to cultivate strong and enduring relationships with Ghana and the broader West African region.
