Joe Mettle, Akesse Brempong, Others Thrill Thousands At 2019 MTN Stands In Worship.

Thousands of patrons at the just ended 2019 MTN Stands in Worship were thrilled to the tunes of anointed songs from the likes of Joe Mettle, Akesse Brempong, Diana Hamilton, Prospa Ochimana, among several others that led the audience into the throne room.

The event which happened at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair center was graced by renowned and celebrated gospel acts, who took thrilled fans that had gathered to witness the event.

It was a night of music, dance, prayer and jubilation which saw the first ever appearance of Akesse Brempong on that platform rocking the mammoth crowd to his signature reggae/afrobeat hits.

Prospa Ochimana, known for his hit song “Ekwueme’’, was the headline act of the night and he didn’t disappoint as he took the audience through a time of worship with his popular “Ekwueme” song.

The Nigerian gospel act, whose passion for praise and worship has seen him minister across the globe, had audience on their feet throughout the time he was on stage.

Another act who took the audience through a thrilling time was Joe Mettle. The one-time artiste of the year showed his worship prowess when he took his turn on stage.

The songs he ministered on the night include the all-time favourite ‘Onwanwani”, Day by day, and many others which kept the audience dancing throughout his performance.

Sensational Diana Hamilton took her turn and as expected gave the audience what they wanted. She sang some of her favourite songs including ‘Nsenkyerene Nyankopon’, ‘Work in progress’ and ‘Mo ne yo’.

The concert which was organized by MTN was themed “One Nation, One Voice.”, and organisers said it was a way of connecting with their customers. They will also donate all proceeds from the night to charity.

The ‘MTN Stand in Worship’ concert has grown to become one of the most sought-after events on the MTN’s calendar; and it has in the past, featured renowned gospel artistes such as Donnie McClurkin, William McDowell, Sinach, Micah Stampley, Nathaniel Bassey, Patrick Duncan, Joe Mettle and Elder Mireku.
