King Promise Announces Free Album Concert in Nungua.

King Promise has announced his free album concert slated for 28th September, 2019 at the Nungua Traditional Authority Park.  This concert is King Promise’s way of giving back to the society he is from, Nungua. 

There are going to be several other engagements with the people of the community within the day before capping it all off with the mega concert later that evening. Further announcements will be shared in the coming days.

Earlier, the Multiple award-winning vocalist and afrobeats performer, King Promise, released his debut album titled “As Promised”. The album is a 15-track album which includes popular hits ‘BRA; which features Kojo Antwi, ‘CCTV’ which features Sarkodie and Mugeez, ‘Selfish Pt. 2’ which features Nigerian singer, Simi, and also ‘TOKYO’ which features Nigerian superstar, Wizkid.

Gregory Bortey Newman (born August 16, 1995), who goes by the stage name King Promise is a Ghanaian highlife and afrobeats singer-songwriter. He is a signee of Legacy Life Entertainment record Label and is known for several songs such as Oh yeahSelfishTokyo among others. He won the Songwriter of the year at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and best male vocalist at the Ghana music awards UK in 2018.

King Promise grew up listening to his father play an eclectic genre of classic music which influenced him to do music. He came to limelight after the releasing his single Thank God in 2016 which featured Fuse ODG and gained more recognition with his songs Oh YeahHey Sexy and Selfish. He has worked local artists in Ghana and Africa such as Scientific, J-Town, Adina, Pappy Kojo, Fuse ODG, Sarkodie, Wizkid, Mr.Eazi, Simi.
