Following a successful release of his well-crafted highlife record ‘Kwaadonto’, Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Kofi Stainlex, is hitting the road for a regional media tour.

The announcement of the forthcoming tour comes after the song took over radio airwaves and multiple social media platforms and DSPs.
Scheduled to begin later this month, the singer will be on Atinka TV, Max TV, before moving to Takoradi and Kumasi in the Ashanti region. He will be discussing his musical journey, readiness to take over the music industry and his plans for the rest of the year.
According to Stainlex, he will also discuss the intriguing story behind ‘Kwaadonto’ and how it was recorded.
In a statement, Kofi disclosed that the tour is not just meant to promote his new song but also an opportunity for him to interact and connect with his fans across all regions.
Launched officially on October 3rd, the song arrived alongside its video- a cinematic visual that tells a story. Directed by Lens Gardna, the video was shot in the serene environment of Aburi Gardens.
Speaking in the interview ahead of the release, Stainlex disclosed that “Kwaadonto” is not just a song but a statement that explores betrayals and disappointments in relationships. According to him, a story of a man who sponsored his lover’s education only for her to dump him for another man inspired the upcoming record.
Furthermore, the singer described the song as “a prophecy”, adding that he experienced such betrayal by his ex after recording the track.
