On September 30, 2022, Netflix Nigeria released a Yoruba Original movie ‘Anikulapo‘ on its streaming platform.
Directed by the well known Nigerian actor and director Kunle Afolayan, ‘Anikulapo’ is ranked 1st on the Netflix global chart after eleven days of its release.
‘Anikulapo’ a Yuroba word which means one with death in his/her purse tells a tale of guy who was killed for having an affair with the King’s wife and had an encounter with a mystical bird.
