TV3 and 3FM’s entertainment journalist and television host, Gloria Akpene Acquah, has quit her job with the Media General after 2 years. Working for the Kanda-based media organization, MzGee is known for her interviews with Ghanaian celebrities on TV3’s morning show, “NEW DAY”.
She also hosted TV3’s entertainment magazine show “SIMPLY SHOWBIZ” and 3FM’s mid-morning radio show. Taking to social media to announce her resignation, she wrote:
“This is to express my profound gratitude to Media General for making my stay memorable. It has been another opportunity for tremendous growth. I truly appreciate the platforms granted me to give Gh and beyond great highlights! But, it is now time to fly higher! May God be our guide in all our endeavors! See ya!”
Media General in a press statement also confirmed that MzGee has left the media conglomerate on mutual terms but she will leave the media outfit on 25th October, 2021.
