Renowned Ghanaian music executives to speak at Showbiz Roundtable forum

Renowned Ghanaian music veterans and executives have been confirmed as speakers for this year’s edition of The Showbiz Roundtable forum.

Scheduled for the Labadi Beach Hotel on 29 October, the Multimedia Group-organized thought-leader forum, seeks to dissect the dynamic facets of contracts, artistes PR, revenue, royalties, global hits, tourism, culture, as well as essential conversations about the music business module in the country.

This year’s edition of the event is themed “Music Business and Tourism.” Confirmed speakers are, celebrated highlife musician and president of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation Rex Omar, ace playwright James Ebo Whyte, rapper Trigmatic, veteran music producers Panji Anoff and Hammer, creative entrepreneur and former 3Media Networks CEO Sadiq Abdulai Abu and Afro Nation Ghana festival boss and The Rave Group CEO Ruddy Kwakye.

The Showbiz Roundtable forum complements existing platforms such as the Showbiz Conference and the African Music Business Dialogue, which have gained recognition in recent years and are aimed at appraising the local entertainment space and promoting knowledge sharing among stakeholders in the value chain.
