RUMOUR: Reggie Rockstone Part Ways With VVIP; Promzy Set To Return To The Group?

Reggie Rockstone’s touted inclusion to the music group, VIP, was highly perceived to give the group a new face, a refreshing boost, put the group in a position to chart new paths in terms of marketing their music and generating business deals – but recent happenings tell a different story.

Rumours mill reaching the team at www.georgebritton.com has it that, multiple awards winning music group, VVIP, formerly known as VIP, is set to terminate the employment deals; discharge Hiplife/Rap pioneer, Reggie Rockstone from the team.

According to bruits, the Ghanaian rapper, Reggie Rockstone has been unpatriotic to the team, as the performer’s recent activities has not ameliorated the manuscript of the celebrated music group.

The rumour also has it that, the “Chukku Chakka” hit maker has been engaging is music dealings, thus, recording and releasing singles without the group being privy to it, a development they claim is not encouraging the positive growth of the music group.

Rockstone was also solely contracted by Guinness Ghana Ltd for its ‘Made of Black’ Ambassadorial campaign, depriving other VVIP members and the VVIP brand at large of such momentum fate.

Reggie Rockstone joined the erstwhile group, VIP, an estimated 6 years ago resulting to the birth of the group’s new name VVIP and has helped the Africa’s best music group to collate all necessary music recognition, including local and international awards at various awards schemes.

VIP music group was made up of Joseph Nana Ofori (Prodigal), Abdul Hamid Ibrahim (Lazzy now Zeal), and Emmanuel Ababio (Promzy) until the exit of Promzy, paving way for Hiplife ‘Grandpapa’, Reggie Rockstone to join the group, thereby prompting a name change.

The group came out with the singles ‘Selfie’, ‘Book of Hiplife’ with accompanying quality music videos which have enjoyed massive airplay and downloads on social media and other online market and stores.

However, VVIP music group has arrayed profitable mechanisms to undergo change; become different in essence, losing its name from VVIP to its original name, Vision In Progress(VIP) as the “prodigal” former member, Promzy has the intentions of rejoining the music group.
