Stonebwoy has announced that the Ashaiman To The World Festival (previously known as the Ashaiman To The World Concert) will return this year for its 7th edition on September 5th, after being postponed twice due to coronavirus concerns.
Earning recognition as one of the most popular and largest artist-led free music festivals in the country, fans should expect an unrivalled celebration of arts and culture aptly curated by the DefJam signed artiste where he will be joined by a legion of musical artistes and a variety of creatives to perform in his home state of Accra. Following the success of the 2019 edition, which drew 100,000 people, this year’s edition is expected to be a week-long celebration.
The festival, like previous editions, is expected to bring together local residents and visitors from around the world to experience incredible music performances at Ashaiman’s iconic Saka Saka Park. Once again, Stonebwoy hopes to shine a spotlight on the town and its people that helped shape him into the successful and creative artist he is today.
The last edition of Ashaiman To The World Festival was held in November of 2019 at its ritual venue. The event saw the Sakasaka Park in Ashaiman parked with patrons who trooped there to see their favourite acts perform. The event set the record as the most attended outdoor event in Ghana with over 100,000 thousand attendees.
Stay tuned as the 2022 music lineup will be revealed soon.
