Vice President of popular and international Tink Tank, IMANI AFRICA, Kofi Bentil has reacted to bail given to earlier jailed and embattled actress and video vixen, Akuapem Poloo on today Wednesday 21st April 2021.
Akuapem Poloo was on today granted bail in a sum of eighty thousand Ghana cedis (GHC 80, 000) with two sureties after hearing of her appeal filed by her Lawyer, Mr. Andy Vortia.
The Ghanaian actress was earlier on Friday 16th April jailed by an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Her Honour Christine for taking a nude picture with her son.
Her sentencing sparked controversies and mixed reactions from sympathizers, particularly celebrities and personalities across the country. She was granted bail today Wednesday.
Reacting to bail granted to the actress in a Facebook post held the view that Ghana’s judicial system is working.
He says appeals are normal, hoping that the actress’s case be used to improve the country’s judicial system.
In his post, he wrote;

The system is working. Appeals are normal, Everything happens for a reason may we use this to improve our system and may the lessons learnt also remain all for the good of all”
