Ghanaian Super Heavyweight boxer, Braimah Isaac Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku, has disclosed some secrets about his career that you will find shocking.
The boxer who was on Adom TV‘s weekend entertainment show, Ahosepe Xtra said that he has fought about 45 bouts and had won 44 of them. He stated that he never regrets the match-up he lost against Bastie Samir but then there was this fight that made him cry despite him winning.
The fight with United States-based Michael ‘Amazing’ Gbenga was that fight that got him all teary in his hotel room. The bout which was held in the States was a very tense and a tough one. Michael is a good boxer, Bukom Banku said, but he had to win.
Whilst Ghanaians and his fans worldwide were celebrating his victory, he disclosed that he was shedding hot tears in his hotel room because of the power punches his opponent gave him. A sore face and mouth was the aftermath of the fight.
Bukom Banku reiterated that boxing is a ‘stupid’ game which can cause fatal brain damage and a low IQ.
He has hinted that he is preparing for another bout next month in Atlanta, for which he is thoroughly training.
