”Up And Coming Artistes Need To Accompany Their Talent With Money” Reggae Art, Banju. I

Ghanaian born fast rising reggae/dancehall artiste, Bani Jude Delali, professionally known in the entertainment landscape as Banju. I, has admonished that, the current crop of musicians in the entertainment industry need more than their unusual natural innate and endowment quality to excel in their music profession.

According to the ”One Step Ahead” hitmaker who explained his claim stated that, the up and coming musicians need excess money and connections as a contributing factor to the progress of their music career, as talent isn’t enough to make younger generations achieve their aim in music.

Speaking in an interview on a Kasoa based Pink 96.9 Fm, the Ashaiman based reggae/dancehall artiste stated that, an artiste can be naturally gifted in his/her endeavor, but, without money and the right mechanisms to sell their talent to the mass number of music lovers in and out of their jurisdiction, their talent will end futile.

In revelation to his statements, Banju. I mentioned that, in the quest of achieving his goal and to be known as a mainstream artiste in Ghana’s entertainment industry and out of necessity, he has been exerting himself physically and mentally, beyond his apex, yet feels his hard works has not been recognized.

He revealed that, his artistic form of auditory communication and crop of music which is mostly love and motivation centered is targeted at heterogenous music lovers across the continent and globe at large.

However, Banju. I stated that, the natives of Ashaiman loves his style and genre of music in Ghana’s entertainment climate, which has alleviated him off the pressure knowing that, the African Dancehall King, Stonebwoy is the largest music export who hails from the same city in Ghana.

Banju. I is currently promoting his latest reggae groove with the tag ”Legalize It”. The song is advocating for the legalization of the use and production of marijuana in Ghana, which is believed to be health friendly and serves as a major export to a country’s economy.
