Rising Nigerian artist, director and creative; Wavy The Creator releases her brand new track ‘3’ featuring Flohio via Disturbing London & Parlophone Records. The laidback, hip-hop-infused track centres around a love triangle between three friends and features Wavy’s soothing vocals alongside London’s own grime star, Flohio.
The singer’s unique and distinctly urban sound is infused with a mixture of alternative RnB and Neo-Soul. The delivery of her message on the track makes it clear that music is her true form of emotional expression.
‘3’ is Wavy’s second release of 2019, following ‘Body Deep’, released earlier this year and premiered by GRM Daily.
It followed her 2018 tracks ‘H.I.G.H’ and ‘Shaku’ – her inspiration being the popular African dance style, Shaku – which saw premiered on British Vogue and gained the Lagos-born artist international recognition.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria but raised in Houston, Texas – Wavy The Creator is a multi-dimensional artist with a diverse background and even more diverse sound. Other than being a recording artist, Wavy The Creator is a visual artist, photographer and fashion designer – previously working closely with the streetwear brand, Daily Paper.
