2018 has been a good year for entertainment and events in Ghana and one person that stood out on many levels was Kojo Manuel! The event host/hypeman headlined most of the major events of the year and peaked in exceptional fashion in December! Releasing a song with BBnZ’s Shaker and Kojo Cue called “Akpa Show” earlier this year, was just the beginning of things to come as he later join radio giant, YFM Accra. He is also the official MC for Orijin’s Orijinal Beats campaign which has hit pubs all over the country and will continue into 2019!
From hosting Tidal Rave, MTN Pulse Invasion Concerts in Kumasi, Takoradi and Cape Coast, Fresh A Fair Concerts in Accra and Kumasi, Shatta Wale’s Reign Concert at the Fantasy Dome, Manifest’s Manifestivities 18 which had so many crazy reviews to La Meme Gang’s Crusade 3, Sarkodie’s Rapperholic, a phenomenal performance at Ghana Rocks, leading the charge at Afrochella, a special appearance at Detty Rave, Manny Yo as he is affectionately called was the talk of town as celebrities and fans alike spoke highly of his MCing abilities.
Not to mention his constant hosting of Friday nights at Nightlife Awards’ Night Club of the Year, Carbon, he has taken a huge step ahead of his competition and deserves to be crowned Club MC of the Year at the Ghana DJ Awards effortlessly. He has already bagged Best MC and Media Personality at the FAME Awards 2018 and quite frankly should go on to win more for the year under review.
We hope for bigger and better things for Kojo Manuel in 2019 and beyond!
