Chocolate City Music, West Africa’s premier music label is pleased to announce the appointment of Abuchi Peter Ugwu as its new CEO. Abuchi Peter Ugwu before his appointment as CEO was the Vice President for Bean Creative Agency in 2019 and in 2015 was appointed Head of Business Development for the Chocolate City Music.
Chocolate City Music is one of the continent’s longest-standing and most successful labels and it is a 360-degree media and entertainment company consisting of a music label, music licensing company, management consulting firm, and lounge. The record label is located in Lagos, Abuja, and Nairobi, and has operations in the United Kingdom, United States, South Africa, and Ghana.
Mr. Ugwu’s foundation in business and talent management will help him in the running of the label and this is another exciting step forward in the company’s celebrated and widely-acclaimed journey.
