Achimota School, GES And NAGRAT Don’t Care About Rastafarian Student’s Feelings – Nana Aba Anamoah

Award winning and celebrated media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah has added her voice to the ongoing academic brouhaha between Achimota SHS, Rastafarian student denied admission, the Ghana Education Service ( GES) and NAGRAT.

Authorities of the Senior High school had earlier denied the student admission on grounds of he having dreadlocks.

Headmistress of the school speaking in a press conference yesterday Monday after GES had ordered the school to admit Rastafarians following public backlash, stated that the school will not admit them till they cut their long natural hair.

However, the broadcaster and Television presenter reacting in a tweet said that she feels sorry for the student in all the brouhaha.

She says the school, GES and NAGRAT appear more concerned about who is right and wrong and not how the student feels.

According to her, the institutions and their authorities should think about how the Rastafarian student involved as his picture is all over the place.

” In all this, is the young man I feel sorry for.

GES, Achimota school and NAGRAT appear more concerned about who’s right and wrong.

Think about the poor innocent boy caught up in all this. His picture is all over the place.

How is he feeling? Do you care?” She tweeted.
