”Akwaaba Shot Me To The Limelight” – Record Producer, Guilty Beatz

Ghanaian record producer, Ronald Banful, who professionally respond to the name Guilty Beatz, has stated that he was being faced with some difficulties, as his works and talent weren’t recognized in Ghana’s entertainment landscape.

According to Guilty Beatz, the unpleasant situation in his music career is, artistes who employ him to produce a masterpiece and giving it to another music producer to remake the song without his knowledge, revealing that, some of the performing arts did not pay him but indulge in such acts, this, according to him, was depriving him of courage and hope.

Meanwhile, Speaking as a guest on Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy Fm, the music producer revealed that, his hit song “Akwaaba” was aimed at him being recognized in the music industry, adding that, he was disappointed as he was hardly noticed for his most of his productions in the music scene.

The music producer, known for the song “Akwaaba,” first produced Chase’s “Tell Me Your Name” and followed it up with Jesse Jagz and Wizkid’s “Bad Girl,” Efya’s “Getaway” and some of his songs like “Chance” with Mr. Eazi stated that, he was overwhelmed, these works of his were hit songs. People still did not know the man behind the production, him.

However, Guilty Beatz expressed great joy stating that, his ”Akwaaba” song served as recognition song for him, revealing that, artistes who will employ his talent will be glad working with a well known music producer, as they won’t take his work to another produce to reproduce.
