Well-decorated and established Ghanaian filmmaker shock the entire country mostly movie enthusiasts when he announced through his company OldFilm Productions of the construction of 100 homes into a village for his new movie.
The concern of the movie community was mainly if a Ghanaian will be able to do just that and accomplish something as remarkable as that. These concerns were hugely from the sense of where and how Peter would be able to raise funds for that due to nearly low or no investment into films from entities and individuals now.
However, Peter challenged himself once more and moved into action on the construction that will lead to the realization of a monumental achievements that will contribute to either changing the direction or adjusting the feat attained in the past by other colleagues and Peter as well.
Construction began slowly, and in no time the first batch of 100 homes was already on a virgin land acquired by OldFilm Productions in Dabala, Volta Region of Ghana. Our little probe into Peter on the land revealed it was the same spot he shot one of his past movies.
At first, everyone wondered what could be the title of this movie taking into consideration the pre-production steps. Peter calmed nerves of the movie industry when he started revealing letters leading to the title of the movie and then also announced he would conclude that by September 5th, 2019.
He officially concluded the letters and revealed the title to be ‘Aloe Vera’. A tall list of movie A-lister will be blended with up-and-comers to make this production top class. Names such as Priscilla Opoku-Agyeman, Naa Ashorkor, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Zynnell Zuh, Roselyn Ngissah, Aaron Adatsi, and more will make a vivid appearance in carrying the ideas on paper into reality.
