Old Mutual is excited to announce our new talent show, known as Old Mutual Amazing Voices: “Battle of the Genres”.
Amazing voices is a singing competition reality television series that seeks to unearth unsigned talent across three genres – gospel, pop and rhythm and blues (R&B) in Ghana and across Africa. Singing groups numbering from four to eight are eligible to participate in the competition.
Mass auditions kick off on 1 October 2019 in Kumasi at the Kosados Arena Hotel, while that for Accra will be held at the Christ the King parish hall on the 4th of October. Auditions are free in both cities. Winners from the Kumasi and Accra mass auditions will compete in the final home ground battle for the opportunity to represent Ghana at the Pan African stage in Johannesburg.
The winners from Ghana will square off against the winners from the remaining three African countries to stand a chance of winning the grand prize of $100 000 (about 500,000 Ghana cedis.

DStv, GOtv and Africa Magic viewers from Ghana, will in the New Year get to witness this historic talent search reality show. The show will be broadcast on, Africa Magic at 15:00 GMT. It premieres on the 12th of January, 2020 and will run for 13 weeks until 5 April, 2020.
