WASH AFRICA in collaboration with Wahala Entertainment is staging the ZERO Borla Concert and fashion show live at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 28, 2019 from 6pm till you drop.
This show is to educate people against the use of single use plastics in order to make Ghana clean again. They said this is in line with the vision of President Akufo Addo’s mission to make Ghana one of the cleanest places in Africa.
Wael H. Hakim of Wahala Entertainment hinted that it is going to be one of the biggest shows ever at the Accra Sports Stadium. He urges all Ghanaians and Africans as well as foreigners who are living in Ghana that wish the nation to be free of plastic waste to contribute to the event. He named some of the performing artistes as StoneBwoy, Efya, EL, Joey B, Ambolley, Kwan Pa, Lady Jay, Tinny, Jupiter, MzVee and many others.
The special attraction is a fashion display from plastics and polythene by some of Ghana’s best designers such as Bri Wiredua, Anna Cole, Ahenze Accessories, Rennys Glitter, Radford Designs, Figs Fashion, and el Matteo to name a few.
Ambassador Ashim Morton of WASH AFRICA said it is about time that single use plastic is banned to save the earth and the oceans. He noted that everyone has a part to play as that is one of the causes of flooding when ever it rains.
All the artistes mentioned have pledged their support for the ban of single use plastics and are going to sing and perform to educate and entertain. The WASH AFRICA initiative is devoted to the betterment and improvement of the quality of life and livelihood status of all citizens of Ghana of our society.
