Apostle BB Frederick opened up about his rekindled Christian faith in a remarkable interview with award-winning Christian faith-based journalist, Franky 5, on “This Is Gospel” show on local radio station Hitz 103.9 FM.
During the wide-ranging interview, the Head Pastor of Omega Revival Center talked openly about his faith in Jesus, his “turning away from sin,” his reliance on grace, the influence of Christian mentors, his love of his wife, and how he believes Jesus saved and rescued him from a dark place that he was once in — underscoring the “free gift” of accepting Jesus.
He also talked about his past self-destructive behavior — which included armed robbery, smoking and other vices against the morality of a society — crediting God with his recovery.
Growing up, though he was academically good, he opted for the streets to engage in other social vices. And to him, his hatred for school was as a result of his quest for quick money.
He escaped death at the hands of vigilantes after a failed robbery attack; he had a very narrow escape from being lynched by these mobsters.
