Asante Kotoko has announced a new technical team to be headed by Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto in a one and Half year contract.
The New technical structure has been tasked to see the club through the ongoing Football season which is in its halfway stage.
The Porcupine Warriors in putting the new technical team has re-assigned former Coach Abdulai Gazale and his assistant Johnson Smith to the club’s youth teams, while offering assistance to the new head coach.
The club has brought two other Portuguese technical officials to take various responsibilities at the club with Miguel Bruno coming in as Assistant coach, and a video analyst.
Mr Manuel Pedro, also a Portuguese will be in charge of Player injury prevention, and double his role as an assistant coach of the club.
Club CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah introduced the new coaches at his office and ushered them to the Ghana Premier League and the Ghanaian Football echo system.
