Ashanti Gold deputy captain Richard Osei Agyemang has stated emphatically that the Miners will see off Hearts of Oak on Saturday, April 10.
According to the center half, although the match will be difficult, Ashanti Gold will claim all three points with Hearts of Oak’s old foe Paul Asare De Vris scoring.
The Gold and Blacks will look forward to a first win of the second round as they host the Phobians at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on matchday 19.
“It is going to be a tough game but we will beat them because we need to win our remaining matches. This time we are going to win all our home games in the second round at all cost because we want to win the league. We didn’t have a good first round. Therefore, we have to correct things and get the needed points in the second round.” he told Kessben FM
“We are not worried about Patrick Razak or their attackers, we will beat them. We have players that I don’t want to mention names but we will beat them. Paul Asare will play, during his time at Wa All Stars he always scored against Hearts. He will score and we will beat them.” he added
The reverse fixture ended in an eventful two-all draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ashanti Gold at the moment is positioned 10th on the log as Hearts of Oak sits 4th.
