BET Award Winner, Eddy Kenzo To Play Afro Nation Ghana.

Uganda’s BET Award winner Eddy Kenzo has been confirmed for the Afro Nation Ghana beach festival. The event, which first premiered at the Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, Portugal in August, will be held at Laboma Beach in Accra, from 27 to 30 December.

The event will be headlined by Nigerian artists Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido and Olamide. They will be joined by their countrymen Naira Marley, Rema, Santi, Teni and Zlatan Ibile as well as Ghanaian artists KiDi, Kuami Eugene, La Même Gang, Medikal and Wendy Shay. The UK will be represented by Akala Not3s, Tion Wyne, The Compozers, J Hus (UK) and YXng Bane. Other confirmed artists are Alkaline (Jamaica), 6lack (US) and Rotimi (US).

The event also features the following DJs: Distruction Boyz (South Africa), Obi (Nigeria), So Good (UK) and Vyrusky (Ghana).

Kenzo will be among the first Ugandan artists to perform at Afro Nation and will no doubt thrill fans with his soulful voice and hit songs. The ‘Sitya Loss’ hitmaker is no stranger to the Ghanaian audience. In 2016, Kenzo teamed up with one of Ghana’s prominent singers Efya at the fourth season of Coke Studio Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. Kenzo has earned himself a name in East Africa and is among the top artists in Africa.

The Afro Nation festival featured top talent from Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Jamaica, UK and the US.
