Bisa Kdei, a Ghanaian highlife musician has called out the music industry as a “fucked up” one in a twitter rant.
The singer who has been chastised by a section of the media for not being consistent has vented out his frustration maybe.
In a tweet sighted by Georgebritton.com he noted how bad the media could neglect good new, thrive on negativity and always criticizing their work.
He wrote, “When you talk your mind they’ll say u r arrogant. Be cool they’ll say u r too timid. U do interview you’ll have a twisted story to tarnish your image just because some ppl want traffic. Win int. award seff they’ll say you didn’t rep your country well. Fvcked up industry”.
The “Mansa” hitmaker in a recent interview blamed the emergence of Dancehall, which is a foreign genre of music as the cause of the neglect and poor patronage of indigenous Ghanaian high life.
Maybe Bisa is tired of being quiet and has now decided to speak his mind.
