Music Producer JMJ’s much anticipated tape for his 2nd Edition of “Riddim Of The GODS (ROG)” project officially launches this Friday, April 23, 2021. The tape is titled “The New Kings” and will exclusively be available on Africa’s biggest streaming platform, Boomplay. This new edition of ROG drops a power-packed Hiphop line-up of Ghana’s new generation of rap emcees, 11 of them got listed.
The first part of ROG New Kings features 6 emcees: Boiisam, Kofi Jamar, Bryan The Mensah, King Paluta, Keeny Ice and Lokal, making the first release. The 2nd release of the tape which drops a week after the first — on Friday, April 30th, and will have Amerado, Lyrical Joe, Cedi Rap, Phrimpong and AY Poyoo.
As a Producer who loves to spot new talent and project them into mainstream, “I took time to pick these guys for Phase 2 of my ROG Hiphop. In fact, the list of names that came to when I posted on social media I needed the names of Rappers to enlist for the next Hiphop tape, the list was so heavy and scary I almost deleted the post from Facebook. The line up was very long with dope young rappers it was difficult to pick a final list to work with. But upon deliberations with the Team and engaging the artistes respectively, we arrived at 11 names we think availed themselves for this tape”, Producer JMJ explained.
