Burna Boy Ruled Out Of Afropunk Festival In South Africa

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA (www.georgebritton.com) – According to organizers of Afropunk Festival, top Nigerian artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy will not perform at the festival taking place on Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, South Africa on 30 and 31 December.

“Afropunk is still committed to providing music lovers and fans a safe space to express themselves while they enjoy incredible performances from the impressive line-up which includes Solange, Miguel, Nao, Masego, GoldLink, Sho Madjozi, Kwani Experience and many other artists this year.

“We are grateful to South Africa, our community, and to the many wonderful artists who will be with us on the 30th and 31st of December, and to the friends and colleagues that have made Afropunk Joburg 2019 possible. This year’s festival theme is We See You as part of our continued commitment to our global African diaspora community.”
