Burniton Music Group (BMG) is calling on all musical artistes, talent managers, and labels to apply for an opportunity to perform at this year’s edition of the Ashaiman To The World Festival, also known as ATTWF.
The festival, which is headlined by multiple award-winning Ghanaian reggae, dancehall, and afrobeats artist Stonebwoy, has become one of the most popular and largest artist-led free music festivals in the world. After being postponed twice due to coronavirus concerns, this year’s edition is set to take place on September 3, 2022, at Saka Saka Park at Ashaiman.
The call is targeted at emerging or undiscovered musicians who want to gain prominence and have the world listen to their sound. Interested parties should send their details to bhimcypher@gmail.com or call +233 54 545 2812. The application deadline is September 2nd, 2022.
The 2022 ATTWF, which will be held in collaboration with BTL Africa, is expected to bring together diverse audiences from around the world to witness incredible music performances at Ashaiman. This year’s event will be preceded by a week of activities, including health screenings, a health walk, cultural activities, and sporting events, and will culminate with a musical concert, according to the organizers.
The last edition of the Ashaiman To The World Festival was held in November of 2019 at its ritual venue. The event saw the Sakasaka Park in Ashaiman parked with patrons who trooped there to see their favourite acts perform. The event set a record as the most attended outdoor event in Ghana with over 100,000 attendees.
