Behind the talk and hype Chief One is getting on the mainstream platforms, he is equally putting in more work to stay afloat the love and support he’s receiving.
5 days into the official release of his debut EP titled “Here I Come”, he has just dropped a brand new video from the body of work. The video released on Friday, February 25, 2022 is “O2 Arena (Me Lor)” — it is Track 2 on the EP released this week. He featured his pal, Omo Marani on it, another promising Ghanaian Artiste.
The song “O2 Arena” subtitled “Me Lor” (an Ewe dialect which translates as “Contentment” is a song that encourages a young striving talent who defies the odds to reach higher and bigger goals regardless of the negative tag society decides to put on him. Chief One puts himself of this proverbial youth he speaks about in the song by prophesying success into his career where he holds a big dream of making it big in the music business with Ewe language, projecting it to bigger heights for more recognition and even playing a sold out concert at the O2 Arena (hence the song title).
The song was produced by Hairlergbe, a young youth based in the Volta Region of Ghana where Chief One also hails from. Wizaad Frames worked on the official visuals for the song. “O2 Arena” makes it the 4th Video released from the EP; he initially dropped a few singles off the EP before officially launching it.
