Gospel recording artist and songwriter real name Hermon Cyrus Kwesi Nhyira Oteng but known simply as Cwesi Oteng, as his name Nhyira propose – Blessing – is enjoying blessings, fulfilling destiny and blazing the trail as he is the first ever gospel musician to present a copy of his album to a sitting president.
On the 13th of February 2019, the Flagstaff house played host to the renowned singer who changed the face of Ghanaian gospel music with his hit song “God Dey Bless Me”. Have inspired hope, and won souls over the years with his songs and activities.
The copy of Cwesi’s new album, which is adjourned one of the best productions in a long time titled “Anthems” which upon its release is making waves both locally and internationally was presented to the President of the republic of Ghana, His H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo at the Flagstaff house by the singer in the company of his team.
The president upon receipt twitted in admiration of the gesture and honor done him by the musician and his team – Being thoughtful enough to present him with a special copy of such a power packed Gospel album.
