Doreen Avio Chalks “Best Female Television Personality” At NELAS Awards.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM/U.K. (www.georgebritton.com) – On-Air Journalist serving at Ghana’s leading broadcast media house; Multimedia Group Limited (M.G.L.), Doreen Avio has been adjudged the “Best Female Television Personality” at the just ended 5th installment of the Nollywood Entertainment and Leadership Awards (NELAS AWARDS).

This year’s edition was staged at Epping Forest Hotel, 30 Oak Hill, Woodford Green, London IG8 9NY, and the Ghanaian born Journalist added the prestigious trophy to her laurel of awards alongside privately owned radio station in Accra-Ghana, Adom FM. The station which is owned and run by the media group company Multimedia Group Limited won the Best Radio Station Category.

The awards ceremony is a platform dedicated to bring both celebrities and Leaders under one roof, as they cerebrate the achievements of well deserved Actors, Musicians, Leaders and individuals that stands out in the community. It also indulges in extensive research on an individual or group performances and recognises outstanding personalities and leaders who have made invaluable contributions in their various fields of human endeavours.

“NELAS founded five years ago, held its first edition on 9th, December 2017 at 02 Arena in London, UK with well over three hundred people in attendance”, and it has become a rallying point for crème de la crème of the entertainment industry, Royal hierarchies, Sportsmen and women, successful business tycoons and members of the diplomatic corps. It has a high televisual potential which can be maximized to the benefit of the up and coming artisan, young leaders, sportsmen and women.

NELAS AWARDS core values is giving back to the community, by pioneering and championing the training project on renewable energy and solar panel since her inauguration in 2017. This project is serving as a gateway in enriching the youths with skills and development they need, giving them the skills to become employable, entrepreneur, not limited to; electrical, electronic engineer and much more resourceful to their communities at large.

Recipients of awards in previous years include Ghanaian dancehall artiste Jupitar, Nigerian artiste Flavour N’abania, Judith Jacob ( British actress from the BBC drama series Eastender).
