Paris Saint Germain player Ousmane Dembele says he is filled with so much joy, pride and emotion following his historic 2025 Men’s Ballon D’or win.

Dembele after a tough battle with his co-contestants was announced the winner at a ceremony held in Paris on Monday night.
Former Brazilian and FC Barcelona star Ronaldinho announced and handed over the high-profile title to the 28-year-old player at the ceremony. During his acceptance speech, he thanked his club President, former teams and players, dedicating the honor to his mum who was with him at the event.
In a post-ceremony statement shared on his X platform, the winner described the moment as a dream come true, thanking his supporters for their unending support.
He wrote ”So much joy, pride, and emotion. A dream come true. Thank you to everyone who has always supported me throughout this journey. #ballondor”
